New Spinnaker

Hunter 23 Grindstone Lake
Bought a spinnaker for the 1990 23 foot Hunter that I owned this year. Now all I have to figure out is how to rig. Shieve for jib on mast has an addition shieve just a little higher. About 1-2"'s. I am going to run a spinnaker halyard around that shieve. Do you think that that was what was intended?

Check the sail loft on this chandlery site for asym spin rigging, launching, trinning, etc. Terry P.S. I'm assuming that you bought an asym spin. Sym spins rig differently.
