I just an article about a new item called "Silent Running SR1000" in Santana magazine that is a paint/spray-on sound dampening system. I was thinking about using it under and all around on the hard fiberglass areas under the engine, under and around the exhaust run. But I'm wondering if anybody has used it, heard of it, or just another waste of time and effort. If this works it might help to quiet the engine noise. See the link and look at SR1000. Bob

Sounds interesting, but...

I checked out the web site, and no where on the site did I find anything indicating how much sound is deadened. It sounds great in theory, and I'd also be very interested to know if anyone on this site has any experience with it. You can't always trust the testimonials on the manufacturers site.
