I just received a new set of shrouds from SECO South, and am very happy with them. I believe they are/were the suppliers to Hunter. I measured my old shrouds from the T to the bottom of the stud that goes into the turnbuckle. Within a week I had a new set of uppers and lowers, with turnbuckles. I have to assume that my current shrouds are original to the 1995 boat, and therefore suspect for their integrity. Both sets came to $291.50, with $14.75 shipping to Ohio. Mighty cheap insurance and peace of mind. Give them a call and ask for Jean, she knows everything about rigging.

Hold on to your old ones. As long as you have a spare, you will not need them.

"As long as you have a spare, you will not need them."
Sage advice.

After all the cracked/broken rudder stories I've read, I built a rough spare but after 5yrs and many hairy days offshore I still haven't needed it(of course now I've jinxed myself). Nice price on the shrouds. A good insc policy.
