I just ordered a new mainsail for my 1978 Hunter 27. I had the local Sail Loft folks handle it for me (they are a rep for North). I don't know what questions you have, but in general here is my 2 cents. I ordered a single row of reef points for the mainsail, since I am lake bound and like to sail when it's windy but not in a mini gale. Since I have an adjustable goose neck, I didn't get a Cuningham. I did get a single full batten (top) since the top partial batten tends to fold over sometimes like a hinge. I didn't get all full battens because I don't race so perfect sail shape isn't that important to me. I also have a 110% lapper jib with a row of reef points (which make it about an 80%) and a 150% Genona for the really light air we have down here in the summner time. I plan to convert the 150 to a roller furling rig later this year. I'm currently using a sail bag which is a little more convenient than having to hank on the jib every time I go out.
