Thanks for the nice comments, does an ego good lol. On day 8 we were sitting in the cockpit and my son looks up at me and says "So dad where are we going for our next big adventure" Yeah he takes after his dad, if that trip did not cure him nothing will, he is hooked!

Nice, Cap'n Wayne. I particularly like your explanation of the weather situations you were facing. Nice reefing too!! Thanks for sharing.

Excellent video and narration. Great point of view perspective! Thanks!

The blue canvas that encloses the cockpit......homemade or is it commercial??

Secured jugs

Hey not trying to side track things but perfect example of securing a board to stanchions and than what looks like many jugs of fuel for all those na sayers a while back dicussing if should secure fuel jugs to the stanchions on a sailboat that is how it is done in full color.

The canvas came with the boat and this trip was the first time I used it. I am pretty sure it was home made. I bought the boat hurricane salvage a few years before so do not know the history much.
The boards for the fuel jugs was that plastic decking material from home depot. 5 jugs each side and they went under water many times with no problem. My son did learn why i made him lash them down so good before we left lol.
I use VideoPad for the edits. It is a mid range program and easy to use. Like most things the more practice the better you get. I will check your channel out.
