Not sure why you say that. I suspect the sailing from December thru February will be a chilling experience. The V-Berth has no insulation and even with a 0 degree winter bag you will likely find the morning cold and uncomfortable.
If you are going to sail in the winter here in the Pacific NW you will need to have a good safe heater in the boat. Note at a dock, with AC power you can get an electric heater to keep the boat about 60 degrees. Of course when you sail and anchor out you need something to heat the boat.
