Yeah, that would be fun. Tear one and spend days trying to get up the 5200 I put down to hold them in place with. Maybe 4200 a little easier to peel up when you need to replace one. Going to be doing some tests to see what will work best.

I'm experimenting with using yoga matts. Going to add some double back tape to help keep it in place. It's not slippery when wet, gives a layer of protection, drys quickly, easy to cut into the shapes you want, comfortable on bare feet, and lastly extremely cheap. You can buy all you need for the cabin and cockpit for less than $30.

on board, as long as they are wearing shoes. Too many
opportunities to stub toes or worse and bare feet lack
proper traction on a boat.

I'd vote for nekkid everytime. Except for my one buddy. He has to wear clothes. Whether he's wearing shoes or not.

I agree about the shoes especially on deck but I'd be ok with bare feet in the cabin. They'd just have to don shoes when back in the cockpit.
