New owners (finally) and plenty of questions

Well, all the negotiations, inspections, paperwork, and financial work is done. We're the happy owners of a 2000 Catalina 310 #31, Harmony. Currently in Brisbane Marina, SF Bay, but moving soon to Santa Cruz, CA, after a bottom job and some steering cable/rudder bearing work.

I want to thank everyone for all the advice and thoughts they shared while we went through the process. We will miss our Catalina 27, but we're really looking forward to a wonderful fun time with the new boat.

Rob - my friend and I are over there for lunch most Wednesdays, usually at Crows Nest. If
I can help you in any way or answer questions at your boat will be most happy to help. I have owned
my 2003 C310 # 245 little over two years and really like it.

I usually race Wednesday nights on the rabbit boat, a Sydney 38, Animal. But after working the last few days on the new boat, and getting her up to the yard this morning, I'm going to bed early, maybe 7 or 7:30....

Good luck with your new purchase. My wife and I just upgraded three weeks ago from a 1987 Pearson 27 to a 2003 Catalina 310 (hull#239). She will be named Mini Skirt Mary, just like the Pearson. Hope to find a good home for my old boat

Looks like the Catalina 27 is sold to a young family here, moving up from a Santana 22. Real nice folks, and we'll get to see our old boat out sailing. Sweet!
