Hi, I'm a neww owner of an O'day 23 1979. She is in really good shape and I am looking for rigging details and options. Is there an online place to find these? I'd also love to get my hands on any owners manuals or literature about this boat. Thanks, W

Hi Wade; Go to the index of Forums on this site, then to "More fun". There you will find various specs, photos etc., some / much reproduced from the original sales brochures and manuals. The text parts will probably have to be enlarged, or read with a magnifying glass, but they should be informative to a new sailor. You can also find basic information on the web by doing a search for rigging info, or go to your local library and find the Time-Life Series on Boating from the 70's. There's loads of material out there. The longer you look, the more you'll find. Hope that helps. Bob

You are now the proud owner of the same boat as mine! I found the Unofficial Oday owner's web site (see the links section of this site) to be a great resource for our boat and the history of the Oday company. When I purchased my boat, the previous owner also included the original sales brochure and some other literature. Now that I have a scanner at home, I plan to save the images and send them to this site.
