Sylvain--- Just had de`ja vu` when I saw your post. I just purchased a 1980 33' Hunter on 08/25/09. Mine is in Pensacola, FL and I'm going to move her to my home in Greenville, MS. I have some work to do on it. I was going to have the shipyard where she is to do the work but the cost was TOO high. But I love my boat--not too big, not too little. See ya later. Sailgirl

Congratulations on your new boat!
I too acquired one by default: I bought a 1982 H33 for the purpose of extracting the motor, but when I went into the heart of the beast, I could not scuttle her for the motor.
So I kept it, sold the other boat, and am now restoring her.
She came out of the marina during Ike and came to rest against some buildings.
I had the FG repaired, and just today got all lights working, running water, etc
Mast is on top, had another rudder installed, and am going for a drive around the block to celebrate.
Great looking boat, I will bring her back to life, then I will show everyone how nice it will be.
