New oday 240 owner

Hi everyone, just purchase a Oday 240. Would like to share some improvement I'm working on for the galley. ( will post finish product at some point)

Great job, I like the slide out idea.

We have owned ours for 2 years and love it. She is fun to sail and the cabin is very spacious for the size of the boat.

I'm curious to see what color stain you choose, assuming your going to stain the wood. I made a table top for mine and swing out GPS mount (displayed in photo album) but had trouble finding a match.

Same here, first thing with stain is to have the same kind of wood. (which I didn't). I use Early American from Varathane for the stain and Minwax stain & polyurethane 1step (pecan gloss) for the finish. It's close but not perfect.

Your absolutely right. I used pine for one project and birch for another. Either way your slide outs look great.
