First off, want to say hello, I just joined this forum after having been lurking for a while.
I have been sailing for over 50 years and now am looking at a new to me sailboat- a Captiva 240. I cannot find any info as to how the keel and pin attachment is constructed on this boat or any pictures or structural drawings of this. I know the lifting rope passes through the floor at the aft end of the cockpit and passes through a tube with two 90 degree bends that goes down through the bottom of the hull to the keel, but that is all the info I can gather. Does anyone on here own one of these boats or have any knowledge of this, or where, besides Google, I can find any technical info on these boats? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum MRL in MD. No knowledge about the Captiva. Can you trace the lifting rope. The one image I saw shows that the center board drops out of a partial keel. This complicates things.
I look further. But welcome.
