I would like to bring you up to date. Hunter is getting Selden Masts to start producing the masts for the Hunter 240 & 260. I believe this is now being done on all new boats leaving the factory. In fact, the rigging will also be done by the same folks. I have dealt with Selden some time and was fortuante to attend a meeting at their factory this past winter. Currently, they build all the masts for the larger Hunters. I have found that their work is superb with attention to detail and most important customer relations. I think for the new owners you will be pleased. Crazy dave condon

I'm confused

having recently contacted Greg at Hunter about the mast on my 2001 270. I told him I have a Selden manual, but he said that's not correct, he had me contact US spars and now I don't know what mast I have! By the way, the customer service at US Spars was non existent.

US Spars

I am surprised about what you say about the customer service at US Spars. I have been very happy with them -- they have worked to work with me. Who did you speak to?

gentlemen, stop bashing

I merely wanted to mention some items for informational purposes only. This is not intended to be a bashing of any sort in my post. Please respect my wishes on this post. As for US SPars, I find that Julian is very helpful which is a surprise to me to hear negative imput. Dave Condon

Didn't mean to ruffle feathers

I called and left messages for 2 days, finally just gave up.Sounds like if I was able to get through I would have gotten good service.

Julian was on out of town . . .

Julian was out of town a couple of weeks ago, I wonder if that was the problem.
