Blew out the 25 year old mainsail on my Hunter 26.5. Any suggestions or recommendations for replacement or ordering a new sail?

This site, fxsails.com, thesailstore.com, ebay, craigslist. Inexpensive new sails are pretty much all made the the same couple of factories in Taiwan. The OEM sails were probably made by Johnson Sails in St Petersburg, FL. They will still make you a sail, but it will cost more than the sites listed above.

I am sure the sails at SBO are great.
In the past I purchased sails from Martin, the owner of Sumerset Sails in NY. He makes them right there in his loft. He will make a sail for your boat for the type of sailing you do. His prices are great and he stands behind his products 100%. I bought a genoa with furler and a main from him, both radial cut. I was very pleased with them and the package price was amazing. If you are thinking about upgrading your furler call him for a quote on a Schaefer furler and jib.
On my 260 I had some repairs done on the main & jib this past winter by Andy owner of the Kingston Sail Loft, Kingston ON. I was very pleased with their work and prices. Also a small loft with personal service.
I am just a satisfied customer who likes to see a small business considered, they offer a better product and service you can not get with an off the shelf sail made offshore. I found it is best to deal with them in person or by telephone not email.

Elissatoo: my last set of 26.5 sails came from Kerr Sails, out of Tulsa. I need to get back with him again, as mine are starting to show their age.
