I am trying to get the dimentions for a new mainsail. If anyone has these including static pre bend and expected bend I would greatly appreciate it. Ali
This is not something that you want to take on. Any reputable sailmaker should be able to determine the "exact" dimensions. If you get bad information you will be spending more to modify the sail then it originally cost.
There was someone selling some new OEM sails in the Gear for Sale, you may place a wanted ad to see if he has any more of these sails. They have full battens and Dutchman setup included.
Typically what the sailmakers use are the rig dimensions (I,J,P,E). The main tends to be pretty standard in terms of size (on my H31 it's ~220 sq ft).
The jib is sized by overlap with the mast (100%, 120%, etc). Anytime I've needed sails, I just tell them the year, make and size of the boat and they have all the information in a database.
