FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:Feb. 27, 2007 Fullerton, CAPacific Seacraft Adopts New Corporate LogoCalifornia sailboat builder, Pacific Seacraft Corporation recently unveiled a new corporate Logo and sail emblem. “The new corporate logo is just one way we are asking sailors and Pacific Seacraft fans to take notice of some of the exciting things that have been in the works here at Pacific Seacraft,” Allan Poole, President and CEO points out. “It also ties into the new upgraded building specification of the 2007 Pacific Seacraft models that we have designated the “Silver Star Series.” The “Silver Star” models include DuPont Kevlar® reinforced hulls and 100% vinylester resins. This important change allows Pacific Seacraft to offer a 15 year hull warranty against osmotic blistering. Other Silver Star upgrades include more stainless steel and anodized fittings for lower maintenance and more eye appeal; as well as significant rig changes like available furling mainsails to make them easier for a cruising couple to sail and handle without crew. The new logo features the very recognizable Pacific Seacraft “sailing boat” superimposed over three stars representing Orion’s belt -- every cruising sailor’s favorite celestial beacon. Marketing Director, Jerry Cann, remarked, “I doubt that anyone that has been following Pacific Seacraft for long will fail to connect this to our old logo. The traditional Pacific Seacraft “sailboat logo” is as distinctive as Pacific Seacraft’s designs and classic look. “ “The concept for this new sail emblem came to me during a delivery in the Atlantic Ocean off the East Coast. Throughout all of my personal cruising, I have always looked upon Orion’s belt as my own personal lucky stars. Many a dark night I have set my course by Orion. I can only guess how many of our many Pacific Seacraft owners have done just the same,” Cann added. The new sail emblem is now being shipped on all mainsails for new 2007 Pacific Seacraft Silver Star models. Owners of older Pacific Seacrafts are welcome to use it as well. Your sail maker can contact us for the digital files. FOR ADDITIONAL MATERIAL & INFORMATION:Pacific Seacraft Corp.1301 E.
