Has anyone had a chance to see the new Lewmar folding wheel. I saw it in sailing magazine. Looks like a real great product. I haven't seen a price on it yet. I searched their web site with no luck. Dave

Saw it in Annapolis.....
... and it does a good job of keeping out of the way. I don't remember the price exactly, but I think it was in the 800 - 900 dolar range.

Beneteau Only?
First I've seen of the foldng wheel. At first I thought you guys were talking about the pivoting wheel found on Benes. I was told at Annapolis that Beneteau "bought the patent rights" for 4 years before the pivot wheel could be put on any other boats...so if you see a lot ofnew Beneteaus that burn or sink without the wheel...well hmmmmmm.
