Does anyone out there know how to get a copy of the Catalina 30 book with all the neat upgrades and repair tips? I just bought a 1986 Catalina 30 tall rig. I'd love to find the book that Cat 30 owner's rave about. Can anyone out there put me on to the organization or group that produces it? Thanks, John Manzano jmanzano@juno.com

Book

I have a copy of the book. It is a great help on almost everything imaginable for the C-30. It was authored, compiled and edited by Dick Dickens. He does it out of his house and sells the three ring binder complete for about $30 if I remember it correctly. His address is somewhere in Florida, I don't have it anymore. But, his e-mail address indicated in the front of my book is: tektalk01k@aol.com I never tried to e-mail him, so not sure if that is still correct. I got my book about two years ago.

Catalina 30 Association

The Catalina 30 Association has the info on how to order on it's website. They're listed in the links section on this site's home page. I have Dick Dickens' Tech manual and it's great. Also, if you join the association, you get a subscription to the Mainsheet which will give you quarterly updates.

Book

Go to the Catalina Assoc. home page, or Mainsheet magazine and they will provide you with the address of the gentleman in Fla. that collates and distributes this wonderful source.

Regarding your inquiry on the book that all the Catalina owners rave about, you might be talking about the tech manual that is produced by the tech writer for Mainsheet. Contact your local Catalina 30 association and they can put you on to it...it used to cost $25, and it's worth a whole lot more. Good Luck Cikan@Flash.Net
