After spending weeks working on Trav'ler, I had what may have been one of those revelational moments. I am actually considering putting her in the water this weekend and going sailing. Could I be acting rashly and irresponsibly?

You out of your mind

Sailing, I thought all you were supposed to do with boats was work, work, work and then wax a little. You are actually going to put one in the water and sail it. A novel idea. Sure hope everyone realizes that this is tounge in cheek.

Nice ...

aren't you sick of sailing yet, with all those nautical miles under your belt? ;)

Hi Scott,

Scott, I sure hope that the day I get tired of sailing is the same day they start shoveling dirt on me. I have some work to do on the Seidelman yet, and still haven't had a chance to get it out of the water and do the bottom. But summer is here, which in this area is not the best time to sail. Too hot, but I do it anyway.

Hiigs I'll bring the beer and we can sit on the

dock and talk about it until the urge goes away. We could start a new group called sailing addicts annoymous. and any time someone gets the urge to go sailing we could just drink beer and talk until the urge goes away. (With appologies to anyone who may be offended)

Brrr, , still chilly out there

I was out on Lake Ontario for a few minutes, as I must take a boat to my club on the island. Water is about 3C, 37F. Just don't fall in.

T-shirt motto seen...

...that may help quell the urge: "My drinking team has a sailing problem". Feeling any better?

higgs, I went in the 15th and last weekend

had two good sails as the weather was nasty and windy, with some 100% moisture :) I did run back to the dock and plug in the heater to take the chill off. (25km in the last two weekends.) The point is, PUT THE BOAT IN THE WATER. then you can chose when you use it. It's time! Great sailing to all this season! r.w.landau

We were out yesterday....

84 degrees, 6-8mph winds and sunny. Loved every minute of it..still could have had a little faster breeze though. Now I am nursing my sunburn...

Why bother, higgs,

somebody'd suggest you need to buy a radar system to be able to sail it. *5

At our club

there's a saying on the wall that says "this is a drinking club with a sailing problem". I was out two weeks ago in 20 to 30 MPH winds and some great sailing. It's time to crack the whip. Lets get going, no more procrastinating. Keep it up, Ctskip

You're only askin' for trouble if you do that!

I find that I have enough to fix just keeping the boat docked. Actually using the boat could lead to all sorts of problems! ;o)

Too Much-Too Little

Well, if you are like about 95% of the sailors at my last Boat club in Ohio you would still be on the front porch saying either there is too much wind to sail today OR there is not enough wind to sail today!! You might try that excuse!!
