Just some imput on the new Hunter 25. Hopefully it will make a few of the major shows. They are still fine tweaking the boat. Walk thru transom is in the center which is a major improvement. Wheel steering is being offered with cupholders and I feel that this is a strong seller. Trailer is a tandem axle. Keel is a low long profile shoal draft keel which is weighted. You should have both the cruising and perfomance on this boat from what I hear. Interior offers a galley on the starboard. Enclosed head on the port but with curtain versus door to keep weight and costs down. The table will be a double leaf which folds downward too which is a big improvement. Interior cushions are standard cloth as no one wanted the vinyl. Yes this is a compromise but I feel this will be a stong seller for Hunter Marine. Mast raising gear is also standard with this boat as usual. I have picutres of the new boat but unfortuantely, I am not permitted to post them here as Hunter was kind to make them available to me. Do not ask for any pictures from Hunter as they will not give them out since the boat is still being tweaked. i will keep you updated and for the few of you who know me, send me an email.

I've been speculating on where Hunter would take the new 25. Here are some questions 1 Glenn Henderson designs? 2 side decks 3 shoal keel with or w/o cb 4 rudder VARA or standard off transom or under 5 draft 6 beam 8-6 or 8-11 7 length 25 26 8 ballast 9 displacement 10 headroom 11 handlaid fiberglass with Kevlar 12 inboard opt 13 CE: B or C 14-trailer bunk or keel support 15 plumb bow 16 cockpit winches 17 basically 260 hull reworked

I will be getting one of the first ones but do not have the specs as yet nor pricing. I should get hull #4 while the other three will be going to shows just like mine. Yes it is a glenn henderson design. There is no swing centerboard in the keel. This is not a 260 hull rework. I will be posting photos shortly but I will not divulge where. is the space about the same as the 260? I would think the pricing should be close to the 260 also, I hope to see it at the cleveland boat show but not keeping my fingers crosed on that one
