Well we finally decided to replace the entire system. Head, hose and holding tank. Looked at it yesterday and saw that the tank is held in place by a metal strap. Since I don't have the equipment on hand does anyone have a different idea. Thanks Russell

Nylon with rachets?

Russ: You may want to try some of those nylon straps with rachets. They are used to hold down things on trailers or truck beds. They have them with smaller straps (like 1") that should work. Be sure that you put some type of padding on the edges of the tank to protect the tank and the straps. The banding that is holding the tank down is basically just strapping material that they use in warehouses. Some of the new stuff is made from plastic (better on a boat). You may check with a local boat yard to see if they have something for you too.

Nylon tie-downs work fine...

Or, it may only need bracing...'cuz tanks don't move up and down much, they only slide.
