Well, I think you mentioned in another post that you will sail out of Marion? If so, I'd suggest HARDING SAILS on Rte 6 in Marion. They wil lbe at the New England Boat Show in February, might be at Providence in January, and might even have someone at the Cape Cod Boatbuilders Show in Hyannis in February (not too sure, since that show overlaps the New England Show).
I had them do some repairs on my Sails (both for my DS II and our old CAL 21) and was quite satisfied! I had them clean and store my DS II sails over the winter one year and when I called to arrange to pick them up at their Marion Loft (at the time they also had a loft in New Bedford where they stored sails), on the appointed day (a Saturday in April) I stopped in at the Marion loft and they discovered that they didn't have the sails there, they were still in New Bedford. Well, not only did they appologize, but they personally drove over to New Bedford and then delivered the sails to me in Wareham! No charge! WOW!!
Graham Quinn, owner/manager at Harding lives in Wareham and is a former Commodore of the Beverly Yacht Club, so he and his staff know the sailing conditions on Buzzards Bay and will make a good sail for you.
Other places to check: Squeteague Sailmakers i nNorth Falmouth (I have no experience with them, but they are highly regarded!) Sperry Sails in Marion, I think more $$ than Harding, but again, a long-time Marion sailmaker (and supplier to the Bullseye and Shields fleets). I believe all 3 lofts are on-line. For OEM sails you can't beat D&R Marine in Assonet, MA
www.drmarine.com Rudy Nickerson used to be the Parts Dept. manager at O'DAY and now runs a little "mom & pop" store selling O'DAY parts (truly a small, Mom & PoP! D is for Debbie and R is for Rudy, and they are the only full-time employees).
