new h260 with head problems

Hi Peggy,I have a h260 on the trailer with a leaky ring in the selector, a Jabsco BTW. After fixing this how can I check for proper action if I'm out of the water? Jim

Disconnect the intake hose...

...from the thru-hull and stick it in a bucket of water. Commence to pumping the head. If the toilet's working, it will pull water out of the bucket the same as it would out of the ocean or lake.
