I have recently purchased a new H260 which I will be taking delivery of in about 8 weeks. I'd appreciate any advice on things I should check/watch out for when I inspect the boat with the dealer. The boat is coming with: head + holding tank wheel steering bimini top roller furling 9.9 outboard Also, if anyone has photos of a H260 with the bimini up/down I would like to see them. Thanks Tommy

260 Punch list

Check for spider cracks in gel coat around the corners of the cockpit lockers. Check for places on the head wall / door that are not varnished properly. Check to make sure that someone hasn't already over tightened the two side ports (in the head and above the stove) cracking the plastic. I am assuming that you are going out on a sea trial :) Check the jib sheet / cam cleats under load and see if you are able to cleat them without any problems. If not ask them to either add a riser underneath them or replace them with spinlocks. Hint: spinlocks will fit right on top of the existing cam cleats. I think that dealers who order bimini's from the factory are in the minority. But if I were you, I would have a clear plastic panel put in the bimini so that you can see the top of the main. Check the rubber bumpers under the cockpit locker lids to make sure they aren't already blown out (collapsed). If you had instruments installed with thru-hulls, check the bilge for leaks. All I can think of for now.
