Hello Dan. The price seems alright for a 5 ounce 150% genoa. It is,
however, one weight too light for an all round genoa. A roller
furling genoa should be the same weight as the main. Make sure the
genoa clew is high enough. I do not like the look of a genoa with the
clew lower than the tack. I usually make rf genoas with the clew two
or three inches above the lifeline. With ouboard shrouds and track
the foot of the genoa must cross over the lifelines. Make sure your
sailmaker understands all this.
