O'day Mariner 19 Mississippi
I've been working on my '67 Mariner 19. I've decided to put flooring back in but with no original flooring to go by I need some help. Has anyone seen a scematic or plans for new stringers? I'm thinking it's going to be measeure twice cut two or three times job.... Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I did the same thing in my ODay 20. I then used trex decking for the floor. The biggest concern was figuring how thick to make the stringers. That depended on the screws to hold the deck clips in. There was a bit of movement in the hull depending on the trailer. I blocked up the transom and took as much stress as I could off the hull under the stringers before I glassed them in.

Measure 6 times and cut 10 times..... We finished the flooring over the weekend. We just used pressure treated 2x4's for the stringers and a sheet of cabinet grade plywood that we cut into 6" strips for the decking. Turned out great! Now time to sand, stain and poly then hit the lake! I posted a bunch of pics to my profile....

No matter how many times I cut it, it's always too short..

We went through 3 jig-saw blades getting the cuts right. We thought the sides would mirror themselves but no such luck.

Nice work. Instead of sanding and staining, maybe consider putting down some self-adhesive vinyl? I just did this and it came out great.

Nice! We took her out yesterday to try out the new flooring. Nice storm blew in but everything held. Water beaded up nice. I guess the 5 coats of poly sealed up the wood.
