I'm looking to replace a couple halyards on my cruiser. Does anyone have experience they can share with NE Rope's VIPER line?

I use it for my outhaul. It should be very serviceable as halyards.
I found the line a bit stiff. Did not work well on jam cleats. Would not stay secure. Line fell out during use.
Cam cleats, regular cleats or clutches work fine.
I found that it has a stiffer hand feel. For lines that do not require a lot of adjustment not an issue. I do not use it as a sheet running line.
