When I was in Barbados recently we did the pilgrimage to the Mt Gay Rum factory and with my hat got in free, and learned how to drink rum straight and like it. Course you could always use Diet Coke or Pepsi as a mixer. Not sure what PaulJ would do in that situation.

Why would you ever ruin your rum with diet soda? That's like putting ginger ale in that nice glass of Macallan's or Oban.:cussing:
