On my Lake Erie weather buoy site, http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.phtml?station=45005 ,I saw a note about a new NDBC buoy on Cape Cod. It will be fun to compare Erie conditions with the Atlantic. Pretty quiet there right now. See Related Link.

It's a long way from shore....

Ed,The new buoy location is way, way east of Nantucket, hardly a coastal location, and not visited by many sailors! Take a look athttp://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/Maps/Northeast.shtmlThe Buzzards Bay buoy, or some of the other coastal buoys may be of more interest.Regardless - it's looking like a great weekend in the Northeast, and we're heading for Cuttyhunk over that way tonight.Derek
