I just bought red and green LED bow nav lights that are for vertical surface mounting (teardrop like shark eyes, but surface mount). Nifty, inexpensive, and bright... I have an S and bought black ones so I could put them up on the black stripe under the rub rail.
But as I was fitting them to the hull to determine position, it became evident that the hull sloped (v-shape) a little more than i had expected, and I'm concerned about visibility from the side due to the downward angle.
Has anyone else put side nav lights on their 25/26, and did you concern yourself with the slope?
