OK. I've made the original bottom pain last about 6 years (with touch ups and minor paint jobs of course). This year is a total sand down and re-paint. What are some of your favorite paint and colors? I'm on Lake Michigan, have a Hunter 320 2001 model and not much into racing, just cruising.

Ask Interlux

We use VC-17 Extra w/ Biolux and have success. FWIW send Interlux customer service an email for their suggestions. They will send you a CD for all of their boat products w/ "How To" manual.

Why total sand down?

The only reason to remove and repaint is if you want to change paint type. Most paints require only light sanding (if any) and wipe down. VC17 is made for multiple coating. What type of paint s on the bottom? Why not just recoat?
