It might be near the end of the season in the Midwest, but when you just got a new (to us) 2006 Capri 22 WK std rig, you have to get as much sailing in as you can, to hold you over though the Winter. I've familiarized myself as much as possible with this model before I made the decision to get one, but I wasn't able to actually take a test sail. After my first sail, I am happy to report that my overall impressions, so far are very good. I've hit my shins on the Traveller several times, I have to remember its there! I selected this model primarily because of its size and performance characteristics! Another main reason for selecting this particular Capri, had to do with the fact that it had the Performance Package, although I probably won't do much actual racing. I do look forward to improving my overall sailing skills and Spinnaker usage! I plan on rigging the boat with both the Standard and Asymmetrical Spinnakers. Suggestions welcomed! I look forward to the easy of Trailering, Rigging/Launching, as well as sailing the boat by myself. First project in the off season is a Mast Rising System, details/pictures later.
