New battery break-in procedures?

I searched the archives and did not find anything on this.I just purchased a new battery for my H25. I will rely on this as my main battery and have an isolated older second battery on-board with a Perko switch in case this one dies for some reason.Anyhow, is there a proper break-in method for new deep-cycle acid batteries?Thanks!
