New 78 Ranger 28' owner

I just bought my first sailboat. It is a 78 Ranger 28'. I am thinking of using terminal strips to find out where all the wires go. Any other suggestions. Thanks

I can't comment on the wiring,
but the Ranger 28 is a nice sailing little boat.

I don't understand the terminal strips. Why not just start a wiring diagram?
