We are about to order a new 470 to replace our 95 Hunter 430. Is there any noticeable performance difference if I order it without sails and add aftermarket sales right from the get go??
I think sails offered with new boats are usually the lowest price thing they can get away with. The Doyle swing batten sail solves the problem of lower performance for the easy handling in mast furling. Getting the stock sails is like buying a sports car with the smallest engine made for it.
