test sail
Barry,In answer to your question, both,I work for the Maryland Hunter dealer and I live close by. Hull #1 unfortunately had to go back to Florida soon after the show but I did get a chance to sail it before it left. My general impression was that it handles much like all the Glenn Henderson designed Hunters. Fast but also well balanced with no particular nasty habits that I could find. You'll probably find that the fractional rig and end boom sheeting make the Hunter a little easier to short hand sail as well as a little sportier than the masthead rigged Catalina. Don't get me wrong, the Catalina 320 is a fine boat, it's just that Catalina tends to be a little more traditional. In the end it all depends on what looks good to you.
