We just bought a new model 320. If anyone has any advice for us on the model, or Hunter, or sailing for the first time as a 63 year old, we'd appreciate it. thanx.
You will find that the 320 is an easy to sail boat, she is pretty forgiving. You will want to reef the main early, depends on how far over you want to sail the boat.I find that much over 15 knots of wind, the first reef makes for comfortable sailing. The other thing to do is take sailing lessons using your boat, this is a must if you have not sailed.Other than that enjoy.Regards.Bruce.Neon Moon
Our only advice would be to make sure you order the in mast furling for your main sail. If you haven't really sailed before this will make things much easier. The minute loss of performance is well outwayed by the ease factor. Have fun.
