new 15 owner

Hello I recently bought a 15 and I'm trying to find the hull number so as to be able to get a copy of the title. (previous owner still trying to "find" the title), it's registration is still current so I went online with the state but they need the HIN to go along with bow number. Anyway i've looked all over the boat without any luck, does anyone know where the hull number is supposed to be ?? Thanks in advance, Cj

The HIN numbers are usually on the upper right hand corner of the outside transom. They may have put them on a plate somewhere in the cockpit too.
