Mid 80's Hunters had Pryde Sails.

Phillip: The mid 80's Hunters had Pryde sails. They were well constructed back then. We got about 12-13 years out of our main. It was baggin' by the time we replaced it but new blew out or any problems. Held up very well for the first 10 years. Have you checked out the sails here on the web site?

22 years and still in service

I owned a 27 foot Sun Yacht for 22 years that came with Niel Pryde sails. The Mainsail lasted 14 years and the 85% and 150% were still servicable when I sold the boat. Too my knowledge they are still in service today.

New Sail

Before you buy check out the Sail Warehouse at WWW.THESAILWAREHOUSE.COM. I just bought a blue water sail from them and I am very pleased with the quality and saved $600-$800. They have sails pre-made for your boat and can deliver it in 4-5 days

I replaced my old Prydes...

...with new Cruising Directs (North Sails). Pryde was just way too pricey. Got the same material, same specs, same construction, same quality, great warranty, and personal service for one third of the price. Cheers, Bob

Quality sails...came as standard equipment on O'day's for a long time and they lasted forever. I had a twenty year old suit on my 28 and my 31' has her original suit and they are still in great shape. Enjoy!

Rolly-Tasker

I just bought a new 150 from national sails (www.nationalsail.com) and am very pleased with it. The sails are made overseas, so you will need to allow several weeks for shipping. However, the guys there are very knowledgeable, and the sail needed absolutely no mods when it arrived. Pleased so far, but time will tell. Rob

North Sails

I just replaced my old 150 with a 135 from North. North has a variety of sail products for all different types of sailors. Check out their web site. I have heard good things about Neil Pryde; they have been around a while. If you are going to keep your boat a while I would go with a higher end sail and spend the extra money.
