Hello group,
I'm a former Vega sailor and have inherited my father's Vega sloop,
made in 1969, number 377. Unfortunately he did little upkeep over the
several years he owned it, and in the last 10 years has been
completely neglected, sitting on its trailer. I don't even know if it
is restorable, but someone more knowledgable than I should judge
this. It was a great boat when it was young as you all know. (My ONLY
complaint was the lack of standing headroom.) Maybe someone would
want to take on a very large project and restore it?
It is on a road-ready trailer and could be driven away. It is in
Groton, Massachusetts, USA. I put up pictures and descriptions at
http://mysite.verizon.net/~solismaris/vegaforsale/fIndex.html Please
email with any questions; thanks.
