Need your help! P303 main sail replacement?

Hello all! I need your help to pick the right new main sail replacement. If anyone has any information please step forward!. Size, material, or recommendations would be helpfull. Thanks ..

Lots of choices that only you can make. Full battens vs. partial battens. Loose footed or not. Number of reefing points, sail handling system (Dutchman, lazy jacks, Stackpack, etc.). Practical Sailor has some good reading on the pros and cons. I'm currently building one from a Sailrite kit.

Are you still looking for main sail info before buying your new sail? I have a 1986 Pearson 303 (hull #314) and I have the original Pearson blueprint of my boat's sail plan. I can get the info if you still need it.

Our PO replaced our main with a cut down from another boat, and replace our headsail with something far too small (barely 37' luff with a pendant and jams the furler all the time). I'd like to compare what we have to what we should have.

Right now I have both sails off for peak hurricane season.
