Need transient marina/mooring in Seaside Park, NJ

We plan to spend a week in Seaside Park, NJ and would like to bring our Hunter 23 down to sail in Barnegat Bay. Anyone know of a decent launching area and reasonably priced marina in the area? Thanks, Kathy

I can't think of any on that side of the bay.

You may need to come to the other side. The Tom river area has lots of nice marinas.

Chart 12324

If you check out NOAA Chart # 12324, you will note a surfaced ramp and several smaller marinas in the Seaside Heights and Seaside Park area. That side of the Bay is fairly shallow but your Hunter 23 should not have a problem. There are also a few smaller marinas and ramps along Route 37, which leads to Seaside, as well as along Route 35 to the North of Seaside. On the chart, you will note several larger marinas on both shores of Toms River. It's a great place to sail.
