This is what I did with a waterpump 5hp honda that the pump died. I just finished the upholstery for the seat a few nights ago.

Fed up w/ personal attacks I'm done with SBO
I'm with sinnettc, like the blender idea. Something like the pic but maybe with a grass skirt around the bottom and high-rise ape hanger handlebars.

one of the neatest things i have seen at regattas is a gas blender on a Tarten 10 sailed in the St.Pete NOOD regatta, The owner put on a party after every race, Everyone got free drinks after every race as the blender screamed! It was an awsome time!

Oh i forgot to give the guy who has the blender credit. The name of the boat is the best, Liquor Box. It was the nicest Tarten 10's I have ever seen. The blender had a its own custom fit locker built in the boat. These guys did not come to a race unprepared. The mast on the boat was a polished metal, The whole mast!

fun memories just came poring out! Sorry its off topic.

I will eventually get around to making a tank for it that will cover that place.

I think hooking an alternator up to that 1hp would be the thing I would do with it. A blender is cool but I think you are a beer drinker anyway.

Yes, A beer drinker, but no stranger to a blended drink, I really like margaritas. but the logistics can be challenging.

Hermit, I love the scooter! It looks great, a monoshock front end and all. Have you thought of going into production? I ride a Kawi 1500 Nomad, and one of those scoots would be perfect for short runs in town.

I built it to ride around on the island where my boat is. It's made mostly from left over things I had around the shop. I bought the wheels and the engine, almost everything else was just lying around. I bought some of the stuff on ebay like that monoshock, throttle and brakes off of a yamaha 600. There is a shock under the seat as well.
Starbucks is 2 miles from my shop/house. That's as far as I go 90% of the time. I want a real bike, but until then this will have to satisfy my motorized two wheel urges. I need to license it but have no idea what the process is.
It took/is taking way to many hours to be able to make money on them.

Love the springer front end.....you have way too much free time...;) I still have my Rupp minibike from the 70's where the spring is on the pivot for the triple tree. The springs/shock on the seat prevents kidney damage:0. My Honda 650watt gen has a 2.5 hp 98cc 4 stroke, and will output that all day. I would guess a 1hp would be somewhere half of that(750watt/hp with no losses).Would be good for charging batts for sure. Have fun with it.

Txtowman-I forgot you already have a Honda2000. Maybe a blender with open pipes would be better.
