Need to replace sterndrive engine

Just bought a 1968 Coronado 25. She sails like a dream, but has such a finicky engine that we have had to get towed twice because it wouldn't start. Are there any suggestions what we should replace it with? Looking for an electric start too, as a disability prevents me from pulling any cords.

Check the dimensions of your engine well and then check the different manufacturers for their electric start outboard engines and see which ones would adequately fit. Get a long shaft model to reduce cavitation.
