Need to replace jib halyard

Need to replace my jib halyard. Was thinking of purchasing the following from westmarine. Trying to save time driving to the boat and want to make sure its will be adequate for a hunter 31.

The biggest problem with halyards is stretch and too large a diameter. Best you can do is buy a spectra cored halyard. 3/8" is an excellent choice. Thats what I use for all mine on my 35.5.

I have ordered Halyards from Seco South in Florida. Just be sure to specify the color and any desired trace colors. They do good reasonable work. You can also check EBAY.
