Need to rent a trailer

We recently purchased a 1966 32' Islander and need to transport it from Daytona Beach,FL to Dallas, TX. We want to know if we can rent a trailer because once we arrive to home port, we plan on mooring the boat. Are there any businesses that handle one-way trailer rental? What other suggestions do you have?

I understand that you are talking about a 32 foot sailboat which is probably heavy and wide. If you never have trailed large sailboats, I would consider a boat hauling company for safety puroposes at least. You may have a problem finding a trailer, tow vehicle and so forth and if you do, you need to know how to bunker the boat onto the trailer, tie it down and so forth. Insurance, permits and so forth is involved as well. Probably cheaper to professionally have it hauled Dave Condon
