I just bought a first sail boat, and was wondering if any body new where I can enter the VIN and find out

I could have fallen off

sometimes they put them on plates that were revited to the boat. They would fall off after a couple of year. Where are you at on Lake Norman, NC? Are you near the yacth club? I used to stay with friend that lived on the lake near there. We sued to race San Juan 21 down there. I miss the area a lot.

Lived down there and sailed on the lake (limited) back in the late 1980's I was the only truck heading north...........Some big cat fish in that lake near the damn

loook on the transom

usually found ont the starboard transom molded in the gelcoat. on later boats the manufactures hide a set somewhere to id boats stolen. post some pictures and sombody will id the boat at least.
