Hey guys! I just got an oday 22 but the old girl needs a boom. Ive been looking around the net at sites but i keep getting different info on lengths. If anyone can help me i would most appreciate it. The boat is a 1978. Thanks a ton all!

Most booms are a constant extrusion with ends added on. If yours is this way then you may be able to find a longer boom and simply cut it down to your size. Also, on boats this small the boom extrusion may be common with some mast extrusions.

you could also measure the foot of your mainsail. that would give you an idea although you may have to add a few inches.
Hey thanks guys! Ive been reading alot of stuff and im pretty sure it is 8 foot 6. Have any of you heard of dwyer mast company? if im getting the right equiptment picked out I should be able to get a boom for roughly 270, not sure on shipping.
