My toerails on my O'Day 27 were leaking so I pulled all of them. The port rail with the jib track broke. There appears to be some rot on the bottom inside edge. Now I'm looking for a piece of teak that is 15/16 x 17/16 x 6 ft 1.5 in. I've checked local suppliers but no one has teak over 6 ft long. I don't want to piece it together and I can't go shorter because the jib track wouldn't fit. The break was at a bolt hole. I have considered epoxying it back together since most of the stress is on the metal track. However, I would still be concerned about the small linear areas of weak wood on the edge. Can someone suggest a source for teak? Thanks, Jim

Type of boat?

If you have an O'Day, you should first contact D & R Marine. They probably have the moulding cut to the proper size and shape for your O'Day boat. CVP
