Hi all! I've bought a Columbia 8.7 and trying to get ready for launch. I'd like to torque the keel bolt nuts ....but I don't have the specs. Can anyone help? It's a 1987 , if that makes any difference.
KEEL BOLT TORQUE:A rough guide to torque settings for keel nuts:15/16" - 1" (24mm) studs should be tightened to approximately 150 ft. lbs (approx. 20.75 kg/m) 3/4" - 13/16 (20mm) studs to approximately 85 ft .lbs (11.75 kg/m) ½" - 9/16" (14mm) studs to approximately 55 ft .lbs (7.60 kg/m).
